  • This attribute identifies the item nature.
     For eg:
An item can be defined as Engineering item by designating an item as ‘engineering item’.

Item Status Attributes

  • Status attributes enable/disable the key functionality of an item.
  • Status attributes are related to the item defining attributes.
  • Status attributes cannot be enabled if you do not set the corresponding item defining attribute to Yes.
     For eg:
If the status attribute Purchasable is set to Yes, you can put the item on a purchase order.
The status attributes are related to the item defining attributes.

Attribute Controls

Used to control the behavior of an item in different functional areas.

It is controlled at 2 levels:
  1. Master level control
  2. Organization level control
  • If the attributes are set at Master level then attributes are controlled only at that level.
  • If the attributes are set at Organization level then attributes can be controlled at both Master and Organization level.
